Sweet Potato chapatti


Sweet potato is a super food with rich sources of fibre, vitamins and minerals.
It is so nice experience to enjoy new and different dishes and delicious and nutritious food.
Today made delicious chapatti for lunch.
Ingredients 
Whole wheat flour 1 cup, for kneading,
Wheat flour as required while spreading the chapatti,
Sweet potato cooked, peeled and cubed a handful,
Onion small 1, garlic cloves 4, ginger 1 inch piece, all three finely chopped,
Green chilli 4, chopped,
Chopped cilantro 1-2 tbsp.,
Turmeric powder 1/3 tsp.,
Fried Sesame seeds 1 tbsp.,
Salt to taste.
Preparation 
Mash the sweet potato, onion, garlic and ginger in a blender, transfer the mix into a bowl, add turmeric powder, sesame seeds, green chilli, chopped cilantro and  salt . Combine that with your hands, add wheat flour, combine them and knead to a soft dough. Keep it for half an hour. Make lemon sized balls, roll it in wheat flour, spread it round on a chapatti stand, fold it to quarter and again spread it. After making all the raw chapattis, heat a tava and cook both the sides. After taking it out, dust out it any excess flour is sticked on it and brush with your favourite oil. I used coconut oil. Lightly brush both sides. Ghee shall give great taste. Serve hot with any dal or vegetable curry and pickles. We had it with chicken curry and chutney powder. It is so delicious.
