Vermecili(semiya) 2 cups
Carrot chopped 1 cup
Beans chopped 1/2 cup
Frozen green peas 1/2 cup
Onion chopped 1/2 cup,green chilly rings 2 tspn,grated ginger 1 tspn
Grated coconut 1 cup
Urd dal 1 tblspn,mustard seeds 1/2 tspn,cooking oil 1 tblspn,dried cilly 1,ghee 1 tspn
salt,curry leaves and cilantro as required
Heat a pan, drop in semiya stir till slightly brown.Boil 8 cups water cook semiya,drain
and rinse with cold water,drain and keep aside.Steam carrot and beans ,keep aside.
Heat oil in pan,drop urd dal followed by broken dried chilly and mustard seeds.
When it pops add curry leaves, onion,saute till translucent,add ginger ,green chillies ,saute ,add
steamed vegetables and saute.When cooked add frozen green peas,salt, coconut and mix well.
Add semiya ,ghee,simmer flame and mix well.
