Banana fritters ( pazham pori)

Riped plantain (nendran) 1 cut into 8 pieces
All purpose flour 1 cup
Sugar 1 tblspn
Ghee  1 tspn
Salt and baking soda a pinch each
Turmeric powder a pinch (optional)
Oil for frying 1 cup
Mix the ingrediants except banana into a thick batter using enough water and keep for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a shallow pan and fry the banana pieces dipped in the batter till it
is golden brown.Spread it in a paper towel,  allowing  excess oil  to get absorbed.
The banana can be cut into round pieces and prepare fritters.Below is the dish.Here turmeric powder
is not used.A banana can be cut into 12 to 15 pcs.This shape is really interesting.
