This dish was prepared in connection with pot luck party.(dinner group).
The theme was Greek,the dish assigned to my duaghter Soorya was beef stew.
Googled the receipe,slight variation made according to availability of ingredients
in our pantry.
Beef stew chunks 2kg,pearl onion 2kg,peeled,olive oil 1 cup,red wine 8tblspn,
vinegar 3tblspn,garlic 15cloves,peeled,whole,tomato paste 4tblspn,cinnamon
3inch pc,rose mary 1stem,pepper powder 1tblspn,pepper corns 12,salt to taste.
Marinate beef with salt and pepper powder,keep it for3hrs.
Heat oil,light brown the meat.Add remaining ingredients and enough water to
cover.Mix well.Bring to rolling boil,immediately simmer flame,cover with a lid,
simmer for 3-4hrs,without stiring until only a sauce remains.
WOW really yummy,good with chappathi and bread.
