Ayila(mackeral) curry


Mackerel 500gm,cut into medium pcs ,wash,sprinkle salt ,keep it aside.
Bilimbi 250gm,cleaned and sliced,green chilly 5,slited,ginger 2inch pc,chopped,
Chilly powder 1tblspn,turmeric powder 1/3tspn,take an earthen pot add the ingredients in 2cups water
and allow to boil.
Grated coconut 1 cup,shallots 4,fried fenugreek 1/4tspn,grind the ingredients to a
fine paste.Add salt to taste.
At boiling point add coconut paste,mix well,allow to boil,wash fish pcs and add to the boiling gravy.
Add a sprig of curry leaf.When  gravy thickens,swirl the pot,reduce flame,allow to remain on
the flame for another 5 mins.
